Tiago Geronimi – carreer summary:
Tiago Geronimi decided to be a driver influenced by his father and his brothers that used to kart race when he was very young. The Brazilian made his debut in 2004, at the age of 16, and for three year competed in go-kart championships in Brazil.
In 2007 Geronimi decided to contest the German Formula BMW and moved to Europe. Competing for Eifelland Racing Team, the driver achieved his best result in Barcelona, 5th place, and got his first podium as the best rookie of the race. The Brazilian end up the season in 11th position overall and in 5th at rookies championship.
Entering his second year of BMW competition in 2008, Geronimi will race again for Eifelland and is hoping to conquer his first victory. He will have Adrien Tambay, who is son of veteran F1 driver, Patrick Tambay, as his team-mate and also another Brazilian driver, Henrique Martins.
